Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Almaty

Welcome to Almaty, the City of a Thousand Colors! After clearing customs and baggage claim, your English-speaking guide will meet you in the arrivals hall and escort you to your vehicle. Enjoy chocolates, refreshing napkins, and complimentary Wi-Fi on board. Check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Shymbulak Mountains visit & Panilov Promenade/Arbat Street walking tour

Post Breakfast, at around 1000 HRS, Visit Shymbulak Mountains via a world-class 3-tier Gondola in just 1 hour, reaching 3200 meters. There you can find the highest bar in the CIS. There are various activities available (on direct payment), including cafes, an observation deck, playground, and adventure sports like zip-lining, paragliding, and horse riding. The resort also offers peaceful stays in high-class hotels with stunning mountain views.
Enjoy an evening walk along the Panfilov Promenade, with views of the Kazakh Opera & Ballet Theatre, vibrant cafes, shops, and live local music. The tour ends on Arbat Street, bustling with shopping and street entertainment. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3 : Almaty to Kolsai Lakes

Head to Kolsai National Park, known as the “Pearl of the Tien Shan” and “Kazakh Switzerland.” Located 300 km from Almaty, the stunning Kolsai Lakes are surrounded by steep mountains. Check into your boutique resort, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Kolsai or explore on horseback. Dinner is at your leisure, followed by an overnight stay in Kolsai Nomad Resort.

Day 4 : Visit Kaindy Lake & Charyn Canyon and return back to Almaty

Visit Kaindy Lake, home to a ghostly underwater forest. A century-old landslide created the lake, submerging a spruce forest and creating stunning, eerie views.
Visit Charyn Canyon, a 12-million-year-old natural wonder often compared to the Grand Canyon. Stretching 154 km, it features Martian-like landscapes and the Charyn River. Explore the stunning “Valley of Castles” with its vertical cliffs, or discover other scenic spots like the “Witch Gorge” and “Dragon Gorge.” Afterward, return to Almaty.

Day 5 : Green Bazaar and Rakhat Chocolate Shop

Visit the Green Bazaar (Zelyony Market), a lively local market near Panfilov Park, offering everything from meat and spices to clothes and furniture. Bargain for great deals in the vibrant atmosphere. Right next door is the Rakhat Chocolate Shop, the oldest chocolate manufacturer in Kazakhstan, known for its traditional and diabetic-friendly sweets.
Almaty is a paradise for all your shopping, so you can head to some of the swankiest malls the city has to offer. We recommend Dostyk Plaza, Esentai Mall & Mega Mall for high-end quality shopping. Overnight accommodation in Hotel.

Important Information

If We Change or Cancel Your Holiday, we plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. Based on some unavoidable Political, Climatic or any other circumstances beyond our control, we may have to make changes and we will keep our clients informed about those changes.

If we cannot provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (for instance, bad weather) we shall first try to offer you alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced.
If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged from you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour standing utilized by you.
In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as the tour fees.
