  1. Day 1 · GangtokArrival in Gangtok – Gateway to the Eastern Himalayas
    Gangtok, day 1
    Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive to Gangtok (approximately 4–5 hours). Enjoy breathtaking views of the Teesta River, lush green valleys, and winding mountain roads along the way. On reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, explore the vibrant M.G. Marg, indulge in local shopping, and savor authentic Sikkimese cuisine at a nearby restaurant. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Gangtok.

  2. Day 2 · GangtokExcursion to Tsongmo Lake, Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass
    Gangtok, day 2
    After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Tsongmo Lake, a glacial lake nestled at an altitude of 3,753 meters and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Enjoy the serene landscape and optional yak rides before continuing to the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (Baba Mandir). Subject to permit availability, proceed to the legendary Nathula Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world and an important Indo-China border crossing. Do’s in Sikkim & Darjeeling

  • Carry your ID and arrange permits for protected areas (Nathula, Gurudongmar).
  • Acclimatise before North Sikkim's high-altitude lakes and valleys.
  • Carry cash: ATMs are patchy once you leave Gangtok.
  • Pack warm layers and rain protection year-round.
  • Remove shoes and avoid flash photography inside monasteries.

Don’ts in Sikkim & Darjeeling

  • Don't carry single-use plastic. It's restricted across the state.
  • Don't skip the permit paperwork; you'll be turned back without it.
  • Don't expect a strong mobile network in North Sikkim.
  • Don't disturb prayer flags, rituals or monastery services.
