Itinerary
Day 1 : Welcome to Almaty and transfer to OI Qaragai Mountain resort
- Welcome to Almaty, City of a Thousand Colors! After customs and baggage claim, you’ll meet our English-speaking staff in the arrivals hall. Meet your driver and transfer to Oi-Qaragai Mountain Resort, just 40 minutes from Almaty. Nestled in the Tien Shan foothills, the resort offers a European-like experience with beautiful nature, comfortable accommodations, and healthy meals. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore the resort and its surroundings.
- Qaragai Mountain Visit
Day 2 : OI Qaragai Mountain Resort
- Enjoy breakfast at the resort, followed by a day at leisure with activities like paintball, hiking, mountain carting, archery, rope park, zip line, horse riding, and spa treatments. Lunch and dinner are available at any of the 5 resort restaurants (direct payment).

Day 3 : OI Qaragai Mountain Resort to Almaty
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete check-out formalities. Your English-speaking guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your city hotel for check-in.
- Later proceed for Panfilov Promenade & Arbat Walking tour, which offers views of the Kazakh Opera & Ballet Theatre, lined with shops, cafes, and beautiful lights. Enjoy local musicians performing songs and playing traditional instruments. The walk concludes at Arbat Street.

Day 4 : Issyk Lake, Alma Arasan, Falcon Show
- After breakfast, visit Issyk Lake, a must for mountain lovers. Hike to the “Kremlin Walls” cliffs and enjoy the scenic beauty by the lakeside. The tour includes the Trans-Ili-Alatau gorges, historic sites like Saka burial mounds, an ostrich farm, and the Issyk Barrow. Finally, relax by Issyk Lake, taking in its turquoise waters and serene surroundings.
- Later proceed to Almarasan Gorge, though access is limited due to a washed-out bridge and blocked trails through a private property.
- Next, enjoy a Falcon Show at a falcon farm, where you can witness birds of prey in action, take photos, and then return to the city in high spirits.

Day 5 : Almaty City Tour, Panfiov Park & Zenkov Cathedral, KokeTobe Hill
- Explore Almaty’s key attractions, starting with First President Park, Republic Square, the State Opera and Ballet Theatre, and Abay Square. Visit Panfilov Park, dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes, and the stunning Zenkov Cathedral, built without nails using advanced 19th-century technology.
- Then, head to KokTobe Hill, the city’s highest point at 1100 meters, accessible via a scenic cable car ride. Enjoy panoramic views, the iconic TV tower, and global cuisine at hilltop restaurants. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 6 : Visit Shymbulak Mountains, Green Bazaar and Rakhat Chocolate Shop
- Post Breakfast, at around 1000 HRS, Visit Shymbulak Mountains via a world-class 3-tier Gondola in just 1 hour, reaching 3200 meters. There you can find the highest bar in the CIS. There are various activities available (on direct payment), including cafes, an observation deck, playground, and adventure sports like zip-lining, paragliding, and horse riding. The resort also offers peaceful stays in high-class hotels with stunning mountain views.
- Visit the Green Bazaar (Zelyony Market) near Panfilov Park for a vibrant, open-air shopping experience, offering everything from meat and spices to clothes and furniture. Don’t forget to bargain for the best deals.
- Next, stop by the famous Rakhat Chocolate Shop, one of Kazakhstan’s oldest chocolatiers, offering a range of treats, including diabetic-friendly and low-calorie options.

Important Information
If We Change or Cancel Your Holiday, we plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. Based on some unavoidable Political, Climatic or any other circumstances beyond our control, we may have to make changes and we will keep our clients informed about those changes.
- If we cannot provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (for instance, bad weather) we shall first try to offer you alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced.
- If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged from you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour standing utilized by you.
- In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as the tour fees.
